COLORS, TEXTURES AND FINISHES
To ensure we make your product with the color and texture you want, Cast Stone Elements requests that clients choose a color and texture from one of our Cast Stone Elements’ samples. Our artisans work to match your sample exactly; however, colors can vary by up to 10 percent. Also, when ordering multiple pieces, colors can vary up to 10% from one piece to the next and no two products are ever exactly the same. Our products are molded and cast by hand, using classic molding techniques. Some variances in stone texture and color are to be expected.
Cast Stone Elements also offers custom colors and color matching for clients with unique specifications. Call the factory at 760-883-5808 for more information about custom colors and textures.

CAST STONE FOR EXTERIOR USE:
Cast Stone Elements uses a unique formula for outdoor products that withstands extreme weather conditions. Please notify Cast Stone Elements if you plan to use your product outdoors. For planters and pots used outdoors, we will provide drainage holes and coat the inside with resin to help prevent water absorption.

Make sure to see our Fiore Stone planters under “Fountains”. Note: The “Old World” finishes should not be used outdoors or exposed to moisture. They have many hand-applied coats of finish that will eventually discolor and perhaps peel if exposed to extreme temperatures.

FIREPLACE SPECIFICS
Our Fireplace Surrounds are cast from non-combustible materials, and our designs are suitable for metal fireboxes as well as masonry fireboxes, or for gas inserts as well as traditional wood-burning fireplaces.

Cast Stone Elements can adjust the size of most of our Fireplace Surrounds.
Custom sizing charges are:
To make a Surround narrower                    $200.00 net
To make a Surround Wider                         $300.00 net
To make a Surround Higher                         $200.00 net

SLIPS AND HEARTHS INCLUDED WITH FIREPLACE SURROUNDS
(See Slips and Hearths for more information)

If requested, a hearth will be provided (up to three 24” X 24” X .75” Slips) in the same color and texture as the fireplace surround at no additional charge. Most building codes require an 18” hearth transition from the fireplace to wood or carpet flooring. Hearths are generally not necessary if the surround will be installed on stone or tile.

Additionally, Cast Stone Elements will include up to six 12” X 24” X .75” slips to fill in the space between the firebox and the surround. There is no additional charge for these slips.

MEASURING FOR A FIREPLACE SURROUND
Cast Stone Elements provides Measurement Forms to assist you with measuring the area where you plan to place your fireplace surround. Before you order, make sure you provide us with all your measurements so we can help you determine if the surround you want will fit properly.

INSTALLATION
Installation information will be sent on request. Many installers of tile and stone products are now qualified and experienced in installation of fireplace surrounds. If you would like, we are happy to confer with your installer before they begin the installation.

CUSTOM WORK
We welcome inquiries for Custom Orders, from your designs or from designs which we will produce to meet your specifications. Our in-house design staff will be happy to help you realize your vision. This includes architectural elements for exterior or interior use, including window and door surrounds, moldings and trim pieces, custom signage, medallions, etc.

PRICING
Pricing and/or pricelists will be sent on request. Please specify if you are an Architect, Builder or an Designer. Cast Stone Elements works hard to have the lowest prices in the nation on fine-furniture quality cast stone products.

CATALOGS AND SAMPLES
Cast Stone Elements maintains all of our products on our website. Paper catalogs are also available to showrooms and the trades with Seller’s Permits. Retail customers may purchase a catalog (at cost) for $35.00. Samples of our colors, textures and finishes are also available. Catalogues and color samples are free to Builders, Architects and Designers.

LEAD TIME
Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for manufacturing before required shipping date. Most orders can be processed in 2 to 3 weeks. Please note your required installation date on your inquiry. For custom orders, please allow 8 to 12 weeks, as prototypes and molds will have to be fabricated before items can be produced. Let us know if you are in a hurry to receive your products and we’ll do our best to accommodate your installation schedule.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
Cast Stone Elements will assist with shipping arrangements. Unless otherwise noted, shipping charges will be paid by the customer and not included in our price lists. Please advise Cast Stone Elements if you have a preference of shipping providers and we will coordinate the pickup at the factory with the shipper. If shipping within the continental U.S., we recommend using a reliable shipping company that blanket wraps the Cast Stone products for delivery.

For overseas orders, we recommend crating cast stone products to avoid chipping or breakage in shipping.
